Funeral services for Shirley Vann Wynn, 67, of Albany, GA will be held Saturday, September 1, 2018 at 3 PM at Bethel Baptist Church in Turner County. Ms. Wynn passed away at the Willson Hospice House on Thursday in Albany, GA following an extended illness. Interment will follow in the church Cemetery.
Shirley was the daughter of the late Junious Lamar and Rosa Lee Shehee Wynn and was born in Ocilla, GA. She was a long time resident of Turner County and a faithful member of the Trinity Baptist Church where she was a Sunday School teacher and a member of the choir. Shirley was a retired private caregiver and attended to many patients over her years of service.
Survivors include her sister, Faye W. Law of Albany and her brother, Quinnon “Lamar” Wynn of Cordele. Her nephews, Jack Lamar Wynn of Albany, Ga. and Jason (Susan) Wynn of North Carolina. She also had 3 great nephews and 1 great niece. A special niece and caregiver, Wendy (Richard) Newell and their children Mason Anthony and Hayden Law Newell all of Albany, Ga..
The family will receive friends, Saturday at Bethel Baptist Church from 2:00PM until the hour of services.
