Margaret Lunelle Coker Smith, 89, of Sycamore passed away Monday, June 25, 2018 at Pruitt Healthcare in Ashburn.
She was born on March 25, 1929 to the late Carl Newton and Ora Lela Guess Coker. Lunelle was the former manager of a Dry Goods Store and she retired having worked in child care. She was a member of the Prime Timers as well as the Keenagers Club where she served as president. Lunelle was a faithful member of Sycamore Baptist Church for many years.
She is survived by her daughters, Kathy (Larry) Youngblood of Sycamore and Janice (George) Berninger of Fernandina Beach, Florida; sons, Carlton (Bonnie) Smith of Sycamore and Allen (Cindy) Smith of Ashburn; nine grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, June 28, 2018 at Perry Funeral Chapel with private interment to follow at Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will greet friends Wednesday, June 27, 2018 from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
