Memorial Services for Jeff Pate, 51, of Ashburn, GA will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, May 21, 2018 at Perry Funeral Chapel. Mr. Pate entered into heaven Friday at Tift Regional Medical Center following an extended illness. Interment will be private in Snowridge Cemetery at a later date.
The son of the late Barney Kenneth Pate and Virginia Beasley Pate of Ashburn, he was born in Turner County, GA. He was a faithful member of Morningside Baptist Church in Ashburn. He retired from The Turner County Sheriff’s Department as a supervisor. Mr. Pate was preceded in death by his wife, Patsy Coleman Pate.
Survivors include his children, Corey Pate and Lauren Pate, his mother, Virginia Beasley Pate; his sisters, Lydia (Bill) Huey and Michelle (Clay) Knight and his nephews, Josh (Brooke) Knight, Jared Knight, Will Huey and Jason Huey all of Ashburn.
The family will receive friends, Monday morning from 10:00 AM until hour of services at Perry Funeral Chapel.
The family will be meeting at the home of his mother, Virginia Pate, 506 West Madison AVE, Ashburn.
