Samuel Glynn "Hammer" Hendrix, 60, of Arabi, formerly of Millington, Michigan, passed away Sunday November 12, 2017 at Crisp Regional Hospital.
He had a passion for playing pool and fishing. He also loved to ride backroads. He served his country and was honorably discharged from the United States Marine Corps.
He is survived by his old lady of 18 years, Vickie Carter; children, Lynnette Conway, Zackery Hendrix and Kaylee Pickerell; father, Edward M. Lorenz, Sr.; sister, Cindy Thacher; brothers, Edward "Mike" Lorenz, Jr. and Terry Lorenz.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Inez Lorenz and brothers, Jackie Jerom Evans and Ronald Hendrix; twin sister, Pamala Lynn Hendrix.
Memorial services will be held at a later date.
