Stella Louise Lamb Phelps, 76, of Fitzgerald passed away Saturday, November 4, 2017 at Pruitt Health Care after an extended illness.
Mrs. Phelps was the daughter of the late Willey Alton Lamb and Louise Smith Lamb. She was a homemaker and was preceded in death by her husband Joseph Wayne Phelps. She was a member of the Church of Christ.
Mrs. Phelps is survived by her sons, Harry Michael Phelps of Byron, Ga. and Joseph Alton (Robin) Phelps of Stephens City, Virginia. She is also survived by brothers Daniel Lamb of Fitzgerald and Raymond Lamb of Dover, Florida. Surviving also are three grandchildren Lisa Phelps and Brian Phelps of Stephens City, Virginia and Hannah Phelps of Warner Robins, Georgia.
The memorial graveside service will be held Wednesday, November 8, at l:00 PM at the Sunnyside Cemetery in Cordele, Ga.
