Willis Nelson Gentry, 85, of Broomfield, Colorado passed away Thursday, September 28, 2017 at Balfour Living Center in Broomfield.
Born on February 2, 1932 in Owsley, Kentucky to the late Lonnie L. and Ethel Brandenburg Gentry he was a retired pressroom supervisor. Mr. Gentry served his country with honor in the United States Army. He was a member of the Grand F and A.M. Lodge of Ohio St. Andrews Lodge #619. Mr. Gentry was also a member of the Baptist Faith.
He is survived by his wife, Edith Mae Parks Gentry of Broomfield, CO; sons, Randy (Mardy) Gentry of Knoxville, TN and Mark (Magida) Gentry of Broomfield, CO; brother, Jim (Barbara) Gentry of Twin Falls, ID; grandsons, Kyle Gentry of Knoxville, TN, Cory Gentry of Thomaston, GA, Kevin Gentry of Denver, CO, Alec Gentry of Louisville, CO, Sean Gentry of Denver, CO.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son, Bobby Watson.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 5, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Perry Funeral Chapel. The family will greet friends Wednesday, October 4, 2017 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
