J. N. Pilkinton, 75, of Sycamore passed away Thursday, June 1, 2017 at his residence.
He was born on July 4, 1941 to the late Morris B. and Tiny Elizabeth Wilson Pilkinton, Sr. in Turner County, Georgia. Mr. Pilkinton was a farmer and a carpenter. He was a loving Papa and the joy of his life was spending time with his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Patsy S. Pilkinton of Sycamore; children, Ramona (Mark) Williford of Sycamore, Kathy (Landon) Alberson of Chula, James (Buffy) Pilkinton of Sycamore and Mickey (Paula) Pilkinton of Sycamore; brothers, Buford (Cindy) Pilkinton of Salem, South Carolina and Terry (Kathy) Pilkinton of Sycamore; sisters, Dot Pilkinton of Dallas, Georgia and Gloria Jean (Billy Ray) Cameron of Sycamore; ten grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM Saturday, June 3, 2017 at Bethel Baptist Church with interment to follow in the church cemetery. The family will greet friends beginning at 9:30 AM until the hour of services.
