Velvia Faye Nolan, 71 of Jacksonville passed away on Friday, May 26, 2017 at her home.
A Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 30, 2017, at 2:00 pm at Harris Creek Baptist Church. Reverend Drew Parker will be officiating with burial to follow at Rose Hill Cemetery Thursday, June 1, 2017.
Local services for Mrs. Nolan will be held Thursday, June 1, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Perry Funeral Chapel.
Mrs. Faye was born in Savannaha, GA and was the daughter of the late Herman and Velvia Sapp Phillips. She was employed with J.C. Pennys as a sales clerk before her retirement.
Mrs. Nolan is survived by her husband of 48 years, Cecil Nolan of the home; one son, Cecil E. Nolan of Jacksonville, NC.
