Funeral services for Riley Giddens, 59, of Ashburn, GA will be held at 11:00 A.M., Friday, May 19, 2017 at New Prospect Freewill Baptist Church in Ashburn, GA. Interment will follow at New Prospect Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery. Mr. Giddens passed away Tuesday, May 16, 2017 after an extended illness.
The son of the late William “Bill” Williford and Mae Pearl Ward Giddens, he was born in Turner County, GA on February 17, 1958. He was a farmer and a member of New Prospect Freewill Baptist Church. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his siblings, Rex Giddens, Clint Giddens, Rowena G. Sellars, and Randy Giddens.
Survivors include his two sons, Justin (Kayla) Giddens of Ashburn, GA., Joshua Giddens of Roswell, GA., two brothers, Roger Giddens and Garland Giddens, and one sister Rachel Giddens all of Ashburn, GA.
The family will receive friends Friday morning, May 19, 2017, from ten until the hour of service at New Prospect Freewill Baptist Church.
