Lexia Newberne White, 95 passed away Thursday, March 16, 2017 at Pruitt Health care in Ashburn, Georgia where she has been a resident since November, 2016.
She was born on September 7, 1921 to the late Allison Emory and Anna Eubanks Newberne. She graduated from Ashburn High School in 1943. She was a retired secretary having worked at Grant's Department Store in Tampa, Florida. She was also a member of the First Baptist Church of Ashburn, Georgia.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Pat White, her son, Lamar Jimmy Wilson and her two sisters, Ruby and Edna.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM Friday, March 17, 2017 at Perry Funeral Chapel with a private interment to follow at Dakota Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to services.
