Elah Gravitt, 96, of Ashburn passed away Sunday, February 26, 2017 at Crisp Regional Nursing and Rehabilitation.
Born on September 12, 1920 to the late Boyd and Ola Pate, she was a retired seamstress having worked for Cohen's Factory. After her retirement she was the owner and operator of Gravitt's Florist and the Turner County Nursery. She was very hard-working and took pride in everything she done.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dewey Cicero Gravitt.
She is survived by her sons, Eugene Gravitt of Ashburn and James (Penny) Gravitt of Columbia, South Carolina; grandchildren, Ellis Gravitt of Ashburn, Leighann Gravitt and Tracy Gravitt; great-grandchild, Amber Gravitt.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 28, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Perry Funeral Chapel. The family will greet friends beginning at 1:00 PM until the hour of services.
