Patricia Ann Truluck Prestley, 81, of Columbus passed away Monday, January 30, 2017 at MidTown Medical Center after an extended illness.
Born on January 21, 1936 to the late Pless Lenward Truluck and Jewel Watson Truluck. She was of the Baptist faith. Mrs. Prestley was a retired beautician and homemaker.
Mrs. Prestley was loved by all who knew her. She was a devoted wife and loving Mother. She was an avid pet lover who opened her heart and her home to all animals in need.
Mrs. Prestley is survived by her son, Everett G. (Laura) Prestley, Jr. of Columbus, Ga. and two daughters, Debbie (Larry) Salyer of Ft. Mitchell, Al. and Rose Marie Prestley of Columbus, Ga., Grandchild, Jennifer Wadkins, Great-Granddaughter, Kayla Prestley, and Great - Great Grandson, Haydan Green all of Columbus, Ga. Mrs. Prestley was preceded in death by her husband, Everett G. Prestley, Sr., sister Mary Mathis and brother Lenward “Buddy” Truluck.
The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, 4017 Macon Road, Columbus, Ga. and Friday from l:00 P.M. until time of service at Perry Funeral Chapel, Ashburn, Ga. The funeral will be held at 2:00 P.M. at Perry Funeral Chapel, Ashburn, Ga. Interment will follow in the Arabi Cemetery in Crisp County, GA.
