Gordon Kelley Lumpkin

Gordon Kelley Lumpkin passed away Saturday, January 21, 2017 at his home in Ashburn at the age of 64.

Kelley was predeceased by his parents, Herbert and Callie Lumpkin; a brother Glenn Lumpkin and two infant brothers. Kelley is survived and lovingly remembered by his brothers and sisters, Eddie (Mary) Lumpkin, Patricia Rainey, Neal (Barbara) Lumpkin, Joe (June) Lumpkin, Audreynette (James) Bailey and Benevis (Richard) Beymer and many nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Kelley was born in Worth County and after high school enlisted in the U.S. Air Force where he was an aircraft mechanic and maintenance specialist. He was given an honorable discharge in August 1974. Kelley loved his family, friends and his dog, Samson. He enjoyed fishing, actively farmed until his retirement and had a great sense of humor.

The family will receive friends, Tuesday, January 24 from 10:00 AM until the hour of the services at 11:00 AM at Harmony Baptist Church.
