Funeral services for Mrs. Zelma Wilson Pearce, 89, of Sycamore, GA will be held Tuesday, January 24, 2017 at 3:00 PM at The Bethel Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
Born in Tift County on August 24, 1927 to the late Joseph Richard and Mary Elizabeth Mauldin Wilson, she retired from Gold Kist Peanut Company where she was an office manager. Mrs. Pearce was also a member of Bethel Baptist Church.
She is survived by her son, Jerry (Franz) Pearce of Glenwood Springs, Colorado; grandchildren, T. C. Pearce of Sycamore and Will (Lauren) Pearce of Sycamore.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Carlton Pearce and a son, William Timothy "Tim" Pearce.
Due to the weather, road conditions and safety reasons, the family request that friends wait and visit with them at the church on Tuesday from 1:30 PM until the time of services.
