John Christopher Goss, 62, of Cordele, GA passed away, Friday, December 23, 2016, peacefully at his home in Cordele surrounded by his loving family.
The son of the late Dr. Christopher Columbus and Frances Rowan Goss, he was born in Ashburn and lived there most of his life. He was a member of the Ashburn First United Methodist Church. John was a graduate of The University of Georgia and was founder and owner of John Goss CPA firm. He was presently serving as President and trustee of The Sconyer’s Gin and Warehouse Trust.
Survivors include his wife, Melanie Williams Goss of Cordele; his son Stephen Christopher (Lauren) Goss of Washington, DC; his daughter, Rita (Donald) Cook and grandson, Gabriel Cook all of McDonough, GA. He is also survived by his sister, Gwen Goss (Allan) Kaye of Bethesda, Maryland.
Memorial services will be announced at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations in remembrance of John to The Bradley-Goss Scholarship Fund, at The Ashburn First Methodist Church or Reflections Hospice of Cordele, GA.
