Funeral services for Mr. Lamar Walls, 69, of Ashburn, GA will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, December 19, 2016 in The Ashburn First Baptist Church. Mr. Walls passed away Friday at his residence following an extended illness. Interment will follow in the Rose Hill Cemetery West Section in Ashburn.
The son of the late Herman Clinton and Lilly Mae Cleghorn Walls, he was born in Tifton, GA and was a retired truck driver. Mr. Walls loved to hunt and play golf and was a faithful member of The Ashburn First Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Ann Nolan of Ashburn; his brothers, Tracy (Kathryn) Walls of Arabi and Tyrone (Sylvia) Walls of Fitzgerald. He is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Monday morning from 10:00 AM until the hour of services at The Ashburn First Baptist Church.
