Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Katherine McLendon Milam, 76, of Ocala, FL will be held at 10:30 AM, Thursday, December 15, 2016 at Perry Funeral Chapel in Ashburn, GA. Mrs. Milam passed away Friday in Ocala Regional Medical Center. Interment will follow in the family lot at Rose Hill Cemetery in Ashburn.
The daughter of the late J. T. and Mary Frances Law McLendon, she was born in Ashburn and had resided in Ocala for a long number of years. She was a homemaker and was of the Methodist Faith. She attended school in Turner County and was a member of the Turner County High School 1958 graduating class. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, William Steven Milam.
Survivors include her husband, James Aaron Milam, a son, Michael Joseph Milam and her grandchildren, Devon Michelle Milam, Maggie Lou Milam and Gertie Mae Milam all of Ocala, FL.
The family will receive friends Wednesday evening at Perry Funeral Chapel from Six until Eight.
