Glenn Loran Bass, 59 of Hampton, passed away Monday, August 22, 2016 at his home. He was born in Sylvester, GA. to the late Sara Bass and Loran West. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his grandparents, Tom and Martha Cravey; and stepfather Donald Bass.
Glenn was a loving husband, nephew and cousin. He graduated from Southern Tech and was a very intelligent, hardworking man. Glenn enjoyed the outdoors and activities like fishing, hunting, archery and swimming. He liked travelling, especially to China, Thailand, South America, Germany and Canada and many other countries. Glenn loved to listen to music and enjoyed eating nice food and drinking good coffee. He loved his family, friends and furry companion Gogo.
Glenn had a great sense of humor and will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his loving wife, Lina Suo Bass; aunts, Jewell Forlaw and Helen Williford; cousins, Alan Lunsford (Karen), Donald Lunsford (Pat), Wesley Royal (Doddie), Cheryl Monk (Rodney), Jim Williford and Rhonda Adkins; along with many other friends and family.
Memorial services for Mr. Bass will be held at 3:00 PM, Sunday, September 11 at The Clements Chapel Cemetery in Turner County.
