The funeral services for Ouidafa Conner Smith, 88, of Ashburn, Ga. will be held at ll:00 A.M., Monday, August 15, 2016 at High Hill Baptist Church in Turner County, Georgia. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery in Turner County, Ga. Mrs. Smith passed away Saturday, August 13, 2016, after an extended illness.
The daughter of the late Albert Hendron Conner and Minnie Lee Gibbs Conner, she was born in Wilcox County, Georgia. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hulet Carlton Smith. She was retired inspector at Gold Kist Peanut Company, housewife and farmer.
Survivors include her children, Bob Wheeler of Conyers, GA; and Susan (Paul) Perry of Madison, GA; a brother George (Nadine) Conner of Pitts, GA; sister-in-law, Melba Conner of Pitts, GA; her grandchildren, Valerie Wheeler Moore, Christopher Perry, Conner Perry and Courtney Perry; a great grandchild, Christian Perry and many nieces and nephews. She was a faithful member of High Hill Baptist Church, Ashburn, GA.
The family will receive friends Sunday evening, August 14, 2016, from five until seven at Perry Funeral Chapel.
