Funeral services for Grace Raines Evans, 91, of Ashburn will be held 10:00 AM, Saturday, June 11, 2016 at Perry Funeral Chapel. Interment will be private at Rose Hill Cemetery in Ashburn. Mrs. Evans passed away Thursday at Heritage Health Care following an extended illness.
The daughter of the late Lem L. and Alma Joe Newell Raines, she was born in Sylvester, GA and was a homemaker. She was a member of The Forest Hill United Methodist Church in Quincy, FL.
Survivors include her daughter, Sara Jo Walker of Tallahassee, FL; her sons, Edwin “Sonny” (Lorene) Evans of Georgetown, GA and Tommy C. (Ruth) Evans of Ashburn, GA. She is also survived by ten grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
