Funeral Services for Britt Baxter, 42, of Ashburn, GA will be held at 2:00 P.M., Friday, June 10, 2016, at Ashburn First United Methodist Church in Ashburn. Interment will follow, Saturday, June 11, 2016, at 2:00 P.M., at Westover Memorial Park in Augusta, GA. Britt finished his work on this earth following a brief illness on June 2, 2016, in Las Vegas, NV.
The son of Wayne Gordon Baxter and Janie Lane Baxter, he was born in Tifton, GA on October 6, 1973. Mr. Baxter was a Sales Representative for Universal Forest Products. He was an avid golfer, hunter and Georgia Bulldog Fan. He was a member of the 1992 Turner County High State Championship Golf Team and was awarded a golf scholarship at Valdosta State College where he obtained his Bachelor Degree in Business. He was a member of Ashburn First United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his father, Wayne (Gail) Baxter; mother, Janie Baxter of Ashburn, GA; sister, Annie Baxter of Atlanta, GA; two brothers, Jason Walker of Hawkinsville, GA and Benjie Walker of Jacksonville, FL.
The family will receive friends Thursday, June 9, 2016, 5:00 – 8:00 P.M. at Perry Funeral Chapel.
