Funeral services for Yvonne Hazel Davison Mayo, 72, will be held 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, April 26, 2016 at Perry Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery, Ashburn, GA. Ms. Mayo passed away Saturday, April 23, 2016 after an extended illness.
She was the widow of Charles Franklin Mayo and daughter of Willie Hendricks Davison and Mildred Hazel Davis Davison. She was born in Macon, GA. She was retired supervisor of M & M Mars Candy Factory, loved music and was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
Survivors include one son Jamie Nelson, Ashburn, GA; one daughter Jocelyn (Travis) Harper of Warwick, GA; one brother Billy (Linda) Davison, Ashburn, GA; five grandchildren, Haley Nelson, Merenda Harper, Elaina Nelson, Deidra (John) Powell, Katrina Nelson and five great-grandchildren, Lance Timmons, Jordan Hall, Chrysleigh Hitson, Hazelyn Hitson and Riley Powell. She was preceded in death by her son Ricky H. Nelson.
The family will receive friends Monday, April 25, 2016 from 5:00 – 7:00 P.M. at Perry Funeral Chapel.
