Funeral services for Ernest “Ernie” W. Massey, 74, will be held 2:00 P.M., Thursday, April 21, 2016 at Perry Funeral Chapel in Ashburn, GA. Mr. Massey passed away Tuesday, April 19, 2016.
He was the son of the late Ernest Willie Massey, Sr. and Lessie Rosa Lee Overby Massey. He was born in Rebecca, GA on January 21, 1942 and was a retired mobile home construction worker with Homestead Homes.
Survivors include his wife Thelma Lou Hall Massey, Rebecca, GA; one daughter Charlotte Ann Brooks, Fitzgerald, GA; one brother Steve Massey, Omega, GA; two sisters Annie Jane Bruce, Tifton, GA, Lois Brundrick, Pineview, GA; four grandchildren Christopher C. Brooks, Carlotta A. Bryan, Carl W. Brooks II, Christy N. Lehr; nine great-grandchildren Jacob Wilson, Kevin Bryan, Peyton Bryan, Bentley Bryan, Aaron Bryan, Gracie Bryan, Leah Lehr, Jackson, Lehr, and Rebecca Brooks.
The family will receive friends Thursday, April 21, 2016 from 12:00 P.M. until the hour of service at Perry Funeral Chapel.
