Calvin McDonald, Sr.

Graveside funeral services for Calvin McDonald, Sr., age 70, of Norman Park, Ga. will be held 11:00 AM Friday, July 1, 2005 at Wrights Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery in Worth County. Mr. McDonald died Wednesday at Phoebe-Worth Medical Center in Sylvester, Ga.

Mr. McDonald was born in Worth County, Ga. and was the son of the late George & Millie Huffsteler McDonald. He had lived in Norman Park for the last ten years and was a retired construction heavy equipment operator. He was a member of Wrights Chapel Baptist Church.

He is survived by one son Calvin T. “J.R.” McDonald, Jr., Sylvester, Ga. and one daughter Connie Clark, Thomasville, Ga. Also surviving are one brother, Hubert McDonald, Sylvester, two sisters Loveless Mathews, Moultrie, Ga. and Mattielou Sealey, Winter Haven, Fl.; four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one son, Alvin McDonald in 1961.

Visitation will be Friday from 10:30-11:00 A.M. at the graveside at Wrights Chapel Cemetery.
