Funeral services for Anna Mae Castleberry, age 85, 885 Hwy 32 East, Sycamore, Ga. will be held Sunday, June 12, 2005 at 2:00 P.M. at the Sycamore Baptist Church with burial to follow in the Providence Baptist Church Cemetery in Worth County, Ga. located off Ga. Hwy 313 south of Doles, Ga. Mrs. Castleberry died Friday, June 10, 2005 in Ashburn Health Care, following an extended illness.

Mrs. Castleberry was born in Vanceburg, Kentucky and was the daughter of the late Darthula and Charlie Hitch Coovert. She had lived in Sycamore for the last 5 years. She was a supervisor with Fri-Tec Clothing manufacturing company until her retirement several years ago.

She was a member of the Spring Creek Baptist Church near Donalsonville, Ga. and the Georgia Masonic Order of the Eastern Star. She was active in her church and Eastern Star until her health failed several years ago.

She is survived by her husband, Arlie Castleberry, Sycamore, Ga.; three sons, James Shepard, Singer Island, Fl., Richard Shepard, Sycamore, Ga. & Paul Shepard, Monticello, Fl.; one brother, Frank Coovert, Erlanger, Ky.; Six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

The family requests that for those who wish, in lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Georgia Masonic Home for Children, % Arlie Castleberry, Secretary, Sycamore Lodge #210, F.&A.M., P.O. Box 541, Ashburn, Ga. 31714. Please include your return address so your kindness may be acknowledged.

The family will receive friends Saturday from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at Perry Funeral Chapel.
