Joe Jeffery

Funeral Services for Joe Jeffery, 41 of Ashburn will be held Monday at 2:30 PM at the Perry Funeral Chapel in Ashburn. Interment will follow in the Sumner Cemetery in Worth Co., Ga. Mr. Jeffery passed away Friday, May 27, 2005 at Tift Regional Hospital in Tifton.

A native of New Smyrna Beach, Fla., he was a paving contractor. A member of the Baptist Faith, he had lived in Turner Co. for the last fifteen years.

Survivors include his wife, LaDonna B. Jeffery of Ashburn. His children Joe Miles Jeffery, Ashburn and Ashley Jeffery of Cordele. His mother and step father, Mary Ann and Charles “Crowe” Pitts of Ashburn. His father and step mother, Robert and Alice Jeffery of Sumner, Ga. Also surviving are his brothers, Robert Jeffery of Cordele and William Jeffery of Sylvester.
