Dorothy Louise Beard McClure

Funeral services for Mrs. Dorothy Louise Beard McClure, 80, of Tifton, GA will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday at Bethel Baptist Church in Turner County, GA. Mrs. McClure passed away Saturday, September 26, 2015 at Golden Living Center in Tifton following an extended illness. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

The daughter of the late Paul F. and Emma Arminta Ross Beard, she was born in Sycamore and was a member of The Bethel Baptist Church. She was the widow of Richard H. McClure and was also preceded in death by a son, Michael McClure. She was retired from Chubb Insurance Company of Tampa, FL.

Survivors include her son, Mark McClure of Lumberton, NC; her sisters, Annette B. Murray of Tifton and Myrtice B. Carter of Sycamore; her brother, Jacob G. Beard of Tallahassee, FL. Also surviving is a large number of nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends, Tuesday from 1:00 PM until the hour of services at Bethel Baptist Church.
