Oswell Wells

Funeral Services for Mr. Oswell L. Wells, 64, of Ashburn, Ga. will be held Friday, April 15, 2005 at 11:00 AM at Perry Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow in the Rose Hill Cemetery in Ashburn. Mr. Wells passed away Tuesday at an Albany, Ga. hospital.

A retired automotive mechanic, he was the son of the late James Allen and Rosa Alvertine Mussellwhite Wells. Mr. Wells was born in Turner Co., Ga. A veteran of the Vietnam War he served in the US Army. He was a member of the Oklahoma Baptist Church in Wilcox Co., Georgia.

Survivors include his children, Johnathan Lee Wells of Petal, Ms., Tamala Gonzales of Jacksonville, Fla. and Tonya Rhodes of Canton, Ga. His sisters Pauline Evers of Arabi, Ga. and Corine Nutt of Ashburn, Ga. Seven Grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6 till 9 at Perry Funeral Chapel.
