Ruth Madelene Smith Morris

Ruth Madelene Smith Morris, 88, of Ashburn, GA passed away Friday, April 10, 2015, at Tift Regional Medical Center following an extended illness. At this time, no services will be held.

The daughter of the late Jessie James and Anna Roberts Smith, she was born in Turner County and was a retired waitress. She was the widow of Lewy Alexander Morris and had resided in Turner County most of her life.

Survivors include her children, Neal (Sondra) Wiley of Sycamore, GA, Neva Jane (Bill) Rogers of Tifton, GA and Neysa Ann Wiley of Knoxville, TN. Also surviving is her brother, H. C. “Bill” (Ouidafa) Smith of Ashburn.
