Funeral services for Bernard E. Hobby, Sr., 84, of Sycamore, Georgia will be held at ll:00 A. M., Saturday, March 14, 2015 at Inaha Baptist Church of Turner County, Georgia. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery (West section) Ashburn, Georgia. Mr. Hobby passed away at his home after an extended illness.

The son of the late Clark and Myrtle Mae Yown Hobby, he was born in Worth County, Georgia on November 30, 1930. He served his country in the U. S. Army and was retired from Shiver Tractor Company as a diesel mechanic. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Selita Pitts.

Survivors include his wife, Lucille Watson Hobby of Sycamore, Georgia, one daughter, Marsha (Steve) Hobby Vick of Moultrie, Georgia, three sons, Bill (Brenda) Hobby, Sycamore, Georgia, Scotty (Lilly) Hobby of Tifton, Georgia, and Dale (Vicki) Hobby, Ashburn, Georgia., one sister Grace Davidson, Warner Robins, Georgia, thirteen grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Also surviving is a nephew, Jimmy Byrd.

The family will receive friends Friday evening, March 13, 2015 from five until seven at the Perry Funeral Chapel.
