Funeral Services for Eloise Hill Gaulden, 81, of Unadilla will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, December 17, 2004 at Perry Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow in the Rose Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Gaulden passed away Wednesday in Portsbridge Hospice in Macon, Ga. following an extended illness.

Mrs. Gaulden was born in Turner Co., Ga. and was the daughter of the late Henry Cook and Georgia Queen Lamberson Hill. She was a member of Westside Baptist Church in Ashburn. A long time resident of Ashburn, she moved to Sylvester for a long number of years and had resided in Unadilla for the past twelve years. She was a retired motel desk clerk for Scottish Inn. Mrs. Gaulden was the widow of Bill Gauldin who passed away November 26, 1972. She was also preceded in death by a daughter Billie Joyce Gaulden in 1944, a grandson, Tony D. Beard in 1966 and two brothers, Harold Hill and Vernon C. Hill.

Survivors include her daughter, Gwen G. Beard, Unadilla, Ga.; her brothers, James Gilbert Hill and Russell Soleman Hill both of Monticello, FL.; her sisters Jacqueline C. Bryant, Vidalia and Carmolene Cook, Unadilla, Ga.; Two grandchildren, Becky B. (Bob) Barthelemy, Macon, Ga. and Ottis M. (Michelle) Beard, Jr., Unadilla, Ga.; Three Great-Grandchildren, Ottis M. Beard III, Cordele, Ga., Brandi F. Smythe and Robert Kyle Barthelemy both of Macon, Ga.

At the request of the family, flowers will be accepted but for those who wish, please make donations to Portsbridge Hospice, 115 Arkwright Landing, Macon, Ga. 31210 or Unadilla First Baptist Church, P. O. Box 250, Unadilla, Ga. 31091.

The family will receive friends from 7 till 9 Thursday evening at Perry Funeral Chapel, Ashburn.
