Funeral services for Guy Nell Scoggins Oliver Cranford, 91, of Sycamore, Ga. will be held Wednesday, November 5, 2014 at ll:00 A.M. at the Bethel Baptist Church, Sycamore, GA with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Mrs. Cranford died Saturday at the Agape Health and Rehab Center in Moultrie following an extended illness.
Mrs. Cranford was born February 18, 1923 in Royston, Ga. to the late James William Scoggins and Effie Leo Smith Scoggins. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Andrew E. Oliver, in 1959 and her second husband, D. Cranford, in 2012.
Mrs. Cranford enjoyed fishing, quilting and working in her yards. She was a retired sales lady for Avon after 42 years of service.
Mrs. Cranford is survived by her sons, William (Myra) Oliver of Ty Ty, GA, Terry (Cindy) Cranford of Omega, GA and Jerry Cranford of Tifton, GA, her daughters, Gloria Jean Oliver Harper of Leesburg, GA and Melba Cranford York of Tifton, GA; Two sisters Leotis S. Camp of Moultrie, GA. and Jimmie Ruth S. Metcalf of Sycamore, GA, her grandchildren Andy and Kim Oliver of Ty Ty, GA, Amy and Michael Marchant of Tifton, GA, Kimberly and Roger Russell of Leesburg, GA, Natalie and Kerry Underwood of Ty Ty, GA, Anita and James Everest of Milliken, CO, Tabitha and Vaughn Beason of Marysville, TN., Natosha Cranford of Knoxville, TN., Terry Dee Cranford of Irwinville, GA., Steve and Susie Lynn of Winona, MN., Cagney Noland of Marietta, Ga., and Courtney Noland of Tifton, GA. Also surviving are her great-grandchildren Dean Oliver, Mallory, Kimble and Rainee Marchant, Cameron Rambo, Malachi and Elim Russell, Kirsten and Gannon Underwood, T.J. Everest, Nicole and Brianna Rooks, Brandon Beason, Riley Grace, Rosston and Zain Cranford.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at Perry Funeral Chapel in Ashburn.
