Funeral services for Jeanita “Nita” Clark Kelly, 86, of Rochelle, GA will be held 2:00 PM, Monday, May 5, 2014, at Perry Funeral Chapel in Ashburn. Mrs. Kelly passed away Friday at Tift Regional Medical Center in Tifton. Interment will follow in the Morningside Cemetery in Rochelle.

She was the daughter of the late William Reginald Clark and Winnifred Juanita Hunt Peebles and was born in Rochelle, GA. She was retired and was a homemaker and mother and has lived in Ashburn for a long number of years. A member of the Ashburn First United Methodist Church in Ashburn, she enjoyed reading, cooking, crocheting and being with her grandchildren and their families. She was the widow of Ernest Louis Kelly, Jr.

Survivors include her children, Jean Walters, Jacksonville, FL; Marianan “Nan” (Andrew) Murphy, Knoxville, TN; Tami Kelly, Tifton, GA; Ernest “Skeeter” (Diane) Kelly, Sycamore, GA and W. Clark Kelly, Tifton, GA.; her brothers, William L. Clark, Abbeville, GA; Alfred Joe Clark, Athens, GA; Carl S. Clark, Tampa, FL; Virgil Hugh Clark, Abbeville, GA. Her half sisters, Sue Wilson, Abbeville, GA. Jean Heintz, Demorest, GA; Yvonne Lovett, Fitzgerald, GA; and a half brother, David Clark, Abbeville, GA. Ten grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren with one more great grandchild to be born in July.

The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from Four until Six at Perry Funeral Chapel in Ashburn.
