Audrey Morris Dasher

Graveside funeral services for Audrey Morris Dasher, 93, of Ashburn, GA will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, April 12, 2014 in Rose Hill Cemetery in Ashburn. Mrs. Dasher passed away Thursday at her residence.

The daughter of the late Grover Cleveland and Ira Lena Sellars Morris she was born in Fitzgerald, GA and had lived in Turner County most of her life. She was the widow of Donald Mims Dasher. In her earlier years, she assisted her mother in the family business Morris’s Restaurant for many years and a homemaker. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She loved working in her yards, and taking long walks in the neighborhood as long as her health allowed.

Mrs. Dasher was a member of the First United Methodist Church where she was a faithful choir member for many years and was a member of the DAR.

Survivors include her children, Alex (Tammy) Dasher of Milton, FL; Tommy (Yolanda) Dasher of Ashburn, GA; Nelle D. Mullis, The Villages, FL; Libby Dasher, Tallahassee, FL and Patricia Dasher, Minor Hill, TN. She is also survived by three grandchildren and Thirteen Great-Grandchildren.

There will be no formal visitation but friends are welcome to stop by her residence, 736 McLendon ST, Ashburn, GA to visit the family.
