H. G. "Buddy" Ray

Funeral Services for H. G. “Buddy” Ray, age 62 of Sycamore will be held Sunday at 2:30 P.M. at the Bethel Baptist Church Family Ministries Building with burial to follow in the Lakeview Cemetery in Sycamore. Mr. Ray died Thursday in Ashburn.

Mr. Ray was the son of the late Otis Grady “Shorty” and Frances McCard Ray and lived most of his life in Sycamore. He was a member and Deacon at Bethel Baptist Church and was retired from Flowers Baking Co. as Regional Sales Manager. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother Tim Ray and a grandchild Robert Shannon Lacy.

He is survived by his wife Linda Burns Ray, and his children Cody Alan Ray, Buffy (Bobby) Lacy, and Christy James all of Sycamore, GA his sister Cherry (Eric) Trevelyan, Tifton, and six grandchildren Hunter Lacy and Emma Lacy, Sycamore, GA, Jesse James and Noah James of Ashburn, GA and Erik Gabriel Ray, Cordele, GA and Lane Grady Ray, Adel, GA.

There will be no visitation.
