Molly Richardson Martenn

Funeral Services for Molly Richardson Martenn, age 76 of Ashburn will be held Saturday at 2:00 P.M. at the Ashburn First Baptist Church with burial to follow in the Rose Hill Cemetery in Ashburn. Mrs. Martenn died February 19, 2014 at Tift Regional Medical Center after a sudden illness.

Mrs. Martenn was a native of Colquitt, Ga. the daughter of the late Robert Lee and Nancy Lou Wade Richardson. She had been a resident of Ashburn most of her life and was retired from AgraTech Seed & Research and worked at Raines Pharmacy and Sconyers Gin. She was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church and the Fidelis Sunday School Class and was also a member of the Keenagers and Primetimers and various card clubs. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Earl Davis Martenn.

Survivors include two sons Earl Davis (Davy) Martenn & his wife Caroline Key Fanelli, of Tuscaloosa, AL and Jack (Doris) Martenn, Douglas, GA and two daughters Jill (Keith) Barnette, Sycamore, GA and Becky Martenn Davis, Ambrose, GA and her sisters Ella Clark, Albany, GA, Robbie Roach, Colquitt, GA, Bessie Hand, Bainbridge, GA and Dorothy Bass, Wilson, N. C. and Eleven Grandchildren and One Great-Grandchild.

The family will receive friends Friday 5:00 P. M. until 7:00 P.M. at Perry Funeral Chapel, 301 McLendon Street, Ashburn, GA.
