Ralph Daniel "Dan" Hayes

Memorial services for Mr. Ralph Daniel “Dan” Hayes, 71, of Sycamore, GA will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, November 16, 2013 at Perry Funeral Chapel in Ashburn, GA. Mr. Hayes passed away Friday, November 8, 2013 at the Medical Center of Central Georgia in Macon, GA.

The son of the late Marlow Hayes and Irene Royston Hayes Brown he was born in Royston, GA and had lived in the Atlanta area before moving to Turner County seventeen years ago. He was retired from The Fulton County Building and Maintenance Dept. He was a member of The Inaha Baptist Church in Turner County and the South Georgia Beagle Club.

Survivors include his wife, Joan Oliver Hayes, Sycamore, GA; his sons, Casey (Lee) Hayes, McDonough, GA; Timothy Hayes, Centre, AL; Johnny (Tammy) Pate, Ashburn, GA and Josh (Joy) Pate, Rochelle, GA. His grandchildren, Amanda (Craig) Ferrill and Amy Hayes both of McDonough, GA; Billy D. Hayes, Forsyth, GA; Anna Pate, Bethleham, GA; Laina Lee Pate and Lauryn Pate both of Rochelle, GA; Alex and Nicholas Lassiter, Ashburn, GA. His great grandchildren, Steven Ferrill, Payton Ferrill and Paxton Ferrill all of McDonough, GA. He is also survived by his sister, Gloria Cooke, Riverdale, GA.

The family will receive friends at the residence, 1060 Bell RD, Sycamore, GA following the services on Saturday.
