Fannie Lee Covington

Funeral services for Fannie Lee Covington, age 62, of Ashburn, Ga. will be held Saturday, July 24, 2004 at 11:00 A.M. at Perry Funeral Chapel with burial to follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Rebecca, Ga. Ms. Covington died Wednesday, July 21, 2004 at Tift Regional Medical Center in Tifton following a brief illness.

Ms. Covington was born in Turner County and had resided in Rebecca all of her life before moving to Ashburn in 1981. She was the daughter of the late J.C. and Beatrice Barker Covington. She was a homemaker and a member of the New Providence Primitive Baptist Church in Wilcox County, Ga.

Visitation will be from 7:00-9:00 P.M. Friday at Perry Funeral Chapel

Ms. Covington is survived by one sister: Nancy Covington, Rebecca; two aunts Azilee B. Whittle, Rochelle, Ga. and Jane B. Raines, Peachtree City, Ga. and one Uncle Collins Covington, Dothan, Alabama.
