Benny B. Reeves, 76, of Sycamore died Tuesday at Tift Regional Medical Center following an extended illness. In honor of Mr. Reeves’ request, private services for family only will be held at Bethel Baptist Church with burial to follow Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Sycamore.
Mr. Reeves was born in Turner County and was the son of the late Basil Kyle and Florrie Odell White Reeves. He was a farmer and owner of Reeves Farms and Trucking. and a member of the Bethel Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Ann Pilkinton Reeves of Sycamore; his children, Benjamin David (Kim) Reeves, of Sycamore; Jeannie Reeves (Alan) Myers and Patty Reeves Kennedy, both of Ashburn; his brother and sister, Basil Kyle Reeves, Jr.; Sue Ellen Speight, both of Ashburn. Also surviving are ten grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
In honor of Mr. Reeves wishes, there will be no visitation. The family request that friends visit with the family at Mr. Reeves residence, 2160 South Railroad Ave., Sycamore, GA.
