Harriet Wilkerson Bohannon

Funeral services for Harriet Wilkerson Bohannon, 83, of Ashburn will be held Sunday, February 17, 2013 at 3:00 P.M. at Perry Funeral Chapel with burial to follow in Salem Baptist Church Cemetery in Ben Hill County. She died Friday at her residence following a lengthy illness.

Mrs. Bohannon was the daughter of the late D.W. and Mabel Swafford Wilkerson. She was born in Rochelle, GA, was a homemaker and a member of the Trinity Baptist Church in Ashburn, GA.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Bohannon and her brothers, W.D., Clark, Jake, and Mack Wilkerson and her sisters, Thelma Luke and Pauline Raffield.

She is survived by her children, Archie (Dale) Bohannon, Ashburn, Dell C. (Brinda) Bohannon, Cordele, Alice (Marvin) Hines, Ashburn, and Helen (Delwin) Partain, Cordele, her brothers and sisters, Oscar Wilkerson and Delma Wilkerson, both of Rebecca, Lillie Belle Stanford, Columbus, Marie McKay, Marietta, Willie Mae Braziel, Rebecca. Also surviving are her grandchildren, Jerri Deard, Terri Earnest , Jeffery Earnest, Sherri Griffis, Charlie Fortson, Mary Beth Partain, Gary Fortson, and Matt Bohannon, Ricky Stallings, Candy Green, Thomas Clark, Becky Morris, Cliff Clark, Chris, Carey and Sarah Tipper. She is also survived by a large number of great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Sunday 1:00-2:30 P.M. at Perry Funeral Chapel.
