Sheila Lichtefeld Rooks

Funeral Services for Sheila Lichtefeld Rooks, age 49, will be held Thursday at 2:00 P. M. at the Bethel Baptist Church in Turner County, GA. Interment will follow in church cemetery. Mrs. Rooks died Monday, September 17, 2012 at Tift Regional Medical Center after a long battle with Multiple Sclerosis.

Mrs. Rooks was a native of Louisville, KY the daughter of the late Robert Anthony Lichtefeld and Betty Ann Greenwell Lichtefeld of Danville, KY. She was born and raised in Louisville, KY. She had been a resident of Ashburn for seventeen years and was a member of Bethel Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband Edward Rooks and their daughters Sarah Rooks and Hannah Rooks all of Ashburn, her mother Ann Greenwell Lichtefeld, Danville, KY and brother Robbie Lichtefeld and his wife Conchita Heyn, Lawrenceville, GA and her sisters Cathy Logsdon and her husband Gary, Susie Allen and her husband Mark and Kim Kernen and her husband Tom all of Danville, KY and her father and mother-in-law Joel and Flora Rooks of Ashburn.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday evening from six until eight.
