Memorial services for Mrs. Joyce Leone Forbes Slater, 52, of Rebecca, GA will be announced at a later date. Mrs. Slater passed away Saturday, May 12, 2011 at her residence following an extended illness.
The daughter of Donald Malcom and Vera Jean Guy Forbes of Gibsonton, FL she was born in Tampa, FL. She was a retired Para Professional with The Ben Hill County Board of Education.
In addition to her parents she is survived by her husband, Byron L. Slater of Rebecca, GA; a brother, Leo Forbes of Gibsonton, FL and sisters Laura Burch of Wimauma, FL and Carol Bianchi of Riverview, FL.
