Funeral services for Sallie Ward Bradley, 99, Ashburn, Ga., will be held Thursday, March 22, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. at Perry Funeral Chapel with burial to follow in Rose Hill Cemetery in Ashburn. Mrs. Bradley died Tuesday at her residence following a lengthy illness.
Mrs. Bradley was born in Ashburn, Ga., the daughter of the late Thomas Payton and Hettie Melissa Bullington Ward. She was a housewife and homemaker. She was the oldest living member of the Ashburn First Baptist Church.
Survivors include her sister-in-law, Laurette Ward, her niece, Cheryl Bradley, both of Ashburn and several other nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends following services at Perry Funeral Chapel.
