James A. Reed

Funeral services for James A. Reed, age 85, will be held Saturday at 11:00 A.M. at Perry Funeral Chapel with burial to follow in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Rebecca. Mr. Reed died Thursday evening February 22, 2012 after an extended illness.

Mr. Reed was a native of Turner County, Georgia the son of the late Thurman Guy and Sierra Leona Light Reed. He was a member of the Baptist Faith and had served in the U. S. Army in World War Two. He was retired from Robins Air Force Base.

Survivors are his brothers Jerry Reed, Ashburn, GA and Donald Reed and Theron Reed both of Rebecca, GA and many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Friday evening from Five until Seven P. M. at the funeral home
