Jennette "Jenny" Youngblood Swinford

Funeral services for Jennette “Jenny” Youngblood Swinford, 53, of Heflin, Alabama will be held Thursday, February 23, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. at the Ashburn First Baptist Church with burial to follow in Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery in Turner County, Georgia. Mrs. Swinford died Monday in Anniston, Alabama following a brief illness.

Mrs. Swinford was born in Macon, Georgia, the daughter of the late John I. Youngblood, Jr. and Jessie Lee Crowe Youngblood of Macon, Ga. She was a homemaker and housewife and a member of the Ashburn First Baptist Church. She was a former long time resident of Ashburn before moving to Heflin four years ago. She loved caring for her pets.

She is survived by her husband, Steven S. Swinford, Heflin, Alabama, her mother Jessie C. Youngblood, Macon, Ga.; three stepchildren, Jason Swinford, Stephanie Watts, both of Newnan, Ga. and Jessica Sparks, McDonough, Ga. Also surviving are five step grandchildren.

The family will receive friends, Thursday from 1:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. at the Ashburn First Baptist Church.
