Funeral services for Lottie Mae Woodard Loper, 88, of Ashburn, Ga. will be held Sunday, January 8, 2012 at 5:00 P.M. at Perry Funeral Chapel with burial to follow in the Rose Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Loper died Friday at Heritage Health Care in Ashburn following an extended illness.

Mrs. Loper was born in Tift County, Georgia and was the daughter of the late William Allen and Nellie Harris Woodard. She was a retired seamstress from Manhattan Shirt Company. She was a member of the Morningside Baptist Church, the Keenage Club and the Albany Horticulture Club. She was the widow of the late Jack Loper and was preceded in death by one son, George Loper and two granddaughters, Michelle Loper and DeAnn Miller.

Mrs. Loper is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Lamar & Barbara Loper, Ashburn, Ga.; two daughters and sons-in-law, Erline & Bob Coats, Flowery Branch, Ga. and Geraldine & Billy Phelps, Ashburn, Ga. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Michael & Tracy Pate, Senoia, Ga., Vicki & Todd Brown, Ashburn, Ga., Jammy & Mary Pate, San Mateo, Calif., Richard Miller, William & Sue Ann Loper, both of Ashburn, Ga., Nancy & Alton Merritt, Rochelle, Ga., Joel & Cindy Loper, Ashburn, Ga., Gregory Loper, Steven & Charyl Loper, both of Ashburn, Ga., several great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. She is also survived by one sister, Louise Wise, Ashburn, Ga.

The family will receive friends Sunday from 4:00-5:00 P.M. at Perry Funeral Chapel.
