Shirley Foltz

Shirley Foltz, 82, of Ashburn passed away Sunday, October 23, 2011 at his residence following a lengthy illness. Memorial services will be announced later by Perry Funeral Chapel.

Mr. Foltz was born in Luray, Virginia and was the son of the late Leslie and Mildred Virginia Mayes Foltz. He had lived in Ashburn since 1968. He was a retired purchasing agent for Arabi Homes. He was a member of the Ashburn First Methodist Church where he was a faithful member of the church choir and the Adventurers of the Methodist Church. He was a member of the Turner County Fire Ant Festival Committee.

Mr. Foltz is survived by his wife Geraldine C. “Gerry” Foltz, Ashburn, Ga. and three sons, Robert Foltz, Cornellia, Ga. and his fiancé, Dr. Brenda Garland, Conyers, Ga.; John (Lorie) Foltz, Woodstock, Ga., and Charles Foltz, Port Charlotte, Florida. Also surviving are his grandchildren, David Foltz, Lula, Ga., Jonathan Foltz, Texas, Elizabeth Foltz, Flowery Branch, Ga., Brandon Foltz and Cameron Foltz, both of Port Charlotte, Florida.
