Marlyon Clements Peterson

Graveside funeral services for Marlyon Clements Peterson, 81, of Tifton, Ga. will be held Friday, September 16, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at Prospect Cemetery. Ms. Peterson died Wednesday at Tift Health Care after an extended illness.

Ms. Peterson was born in Turner County, Georgia and was the daughter of the late Rubin Walton and Cinnie Wynn Clements. She was a homemaker and a member of the Sycamore Methodist Church. She was a long time resident of Ashburn before moving to Tifton in 2009. She enjoyed word search puzzles, watching game shows,and gospel music. She was the widow of the late John Melvin Peterson.

Ms. Peterson is survived by a step daughter, Linda Olive, Columbus, Ga.

The family will receive friends Friday at Prospect Cemetery from 10:00-11:00 P.M.
